Girelli: We have to work harder, we want to win the league

Cristiana Girelli was the difference maker for Juventus Women as the Bianconere started their Serie A season with three points, beating Pomigliano 3-2 in a tough contest in Campania.

"It was a difficult game, but we knew it would be. It's a tough place to play and the first league game is always tricky. Of course, we take three points home with us but we know we have work to do because we want to win the league, and to win the league we need to work harder. I'm happy with the desire the team showed.

"When I came on I was only thinking about helping the team as best I could, holding up the ball, going on the attack and scoring goals, which is my job."
