Happy birthday, Emil!

It’s a first birthday in bianconero today for Emil Holm, who turns 26 this Wednesday.

Emil is blowing out the candles atop his cake in Turin for the first time, following his signing this past winter. Having arrived in Italy in 2022, he has matured as a player in Serie A with Spezia, Atalanta, and then Bologna before joining the Bianconeri.

His journey with us so far has been interrupted by injury, but the versatile Swede has accumulated six appearances in Serie A and one more in the Italian Cup this season.

Off the pitch, Emil excellently integrated himself into the squad upon his arrival, and has put himself at coach Luciano Spalletti’s disposal when he has been fit.
