Juventus and Milan played to a 1-1 draw on Sunday evening at the Allianz Stadium after Ante Rebic's equaliser cancelled out Alvaro Morata's opener.

The game was nothing short of interesting from the get-go when Milan tested Szczesny with just three minutes on the clock: Leao recovered the ball, Brahim moved it up field and Tonali fired at goal only to see his effort tipped over the bar. Juventus then pounced on a poor Theo Hernandez clearance, which saw Morata go one-on-one with Maignan as he poked it into the back of the net.

Milan were always looking to slow the pace of the game down when on the ball, while Juve would do the opposite when winning it back. Both Dybala and Morata forced saves out of Maignan with low shots into the bottom, which he parried away for a corner. Bonucci had a glancing header sail over the cross bar, while Milan's attempts weren't enough to truly test Szczesny.

Juventus started the second half nearly adding a second to the lit when an over-the-top ball from Bonucci met Rabiot, who was bursting into the box, the Frenchman connected onto the end of it, and it narrowly missed the goal post.

Kean was brought on in place of Morata in the 65th minute of play, while Leao's shot narrowly skimmed over the bar. Chiesa was then introduced into the game in the 72nd minute in place of Cuadrado, as Danilo saw his effort blocked by the French goalkeeper.

Milan were pushing for an equalizing goal and they got theirs in the 76th minute when Tonali's corner kick met the head of Rebic, who nodded it in. Brahim played the ball long and across field seven minutes from time to Rebic, who blazed his effort wide of the target. Szczesny pulled off a great save to deny Kalulu at the near post in the final moments of the game, as the game ended in a draw.
