It’s the Derby d’Italia… in China. More precisely, in Nanjing.

Juventus will return to China, where they lifted the Italian Super Cup in 2012 and 2015, a Beijing and Shanghai. This time, as was announced a few weeks ago, the game will be that of an International Champions Cup match, and it will be a great Italian football classic: Juve-Inter.

The Chinese city that was officially confirmed to host the game is Nanjing.

“We are happy to participate in the International Champions Cup once again this year and to return to China after our great experience in the Italian Super Cups in 2012 and 2015,” said Giorgio Ricci, the Chief Revenue Officer of Juventus. “We are also proud and aware that this game can be an excellent driving force for Italian football in China The international development strategy is fundamental for the growth of Juventus, while a key pillar of this strategy is also to build our presence in China. We aim to interact with a huge number of fans and offer unique experiences that are distinctive to the Chinese football enthusiasts.”

The match will take place at the Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre, and will kick-off at 19:30 (13:30 CEST). The tickets will be available for purchase on 20 May.
