Monday saw the penultimate day of internation action for this October window, with qualification continuing for the 2026 World Cup. Of the Juventus Men’s First Team players involved, Edon Zhegrova ended the night the happiest, with he and Kosovo celebrating a 1-0 win in Sweden courtesy of a 32nd-minute strike from Fisnik Asllani.

Edon started the game on the bench, but did come on to play the last 20 minutes of the match, and his side sit second in Group B on seven points, three behind leaders Switzerland.

Khephren Thuram also started the night as a substitute for France away in Iceland, where Les Bleus drew 2-2. He came on in the 75th minute, just five minutes after Iceland had levelled things up at 2-2. That result keeps France top of Group D with 10 points from their four games, three points clear of Ukraine in second.

Another Bianconero on the bench was Belgium’s Lois Openda, who didn’t manage to appear as the Red Devils won 4-2 away at Wales. The win keeps Rudi Garcia’s side top of Group J, a point ahead of North Macedonia with a game fewer played.

Elsewhere, Vasilije Adzic played 90 minute for Montenegro as they beat Liechtenstein 2-1 in a friendly.
