Saturday's Inter-Juventus match will be the second to be played in the Coppa Italia in Milan.

The first was played on January 30 last year and ended in a draw, 1-1. In the league, the previous meetings are decidedly in favour of the Bianconere with four successes in as many matches.

The last Inter-Juventus was decided in two incredible minutes.

At the beginning of the second half, Bonansea struck the opener and before the Nerazzurre could regroup, Arianna Caruso added a second only a few seconds later.

SECOND HALF SCORING SPREE Pt.1

The Bianconere's penultimate victory in Milan was the result of nine second-half minutes. Again Bonansea opened the scoring, in the 71st minute.

Ajara Nchout equalised on 76' but the stalemate lasted for just four minutes. Andrea Staskova netted the game's third and final goal.

Final score: Inter 1-2 Juventus.

Going back in time, to season 2020/21 to be precise, Juventus strode to an emphatic success. All three goals also in this case arrived in the second half.

THE FINISHING TOUCH

The goal that sealed victory arrived in the closing stages.

Four minutes from time Sofie Junge-Pedersen received a pass from Staskova and with a feint, made space for a shot. Although Chiara Marchitelli managed to get fingertips to the ball, it was not enough to stop it from ending up in the net.

THE DEBUT DERBY OF ITALY

Sara Gama, Cristiana Girelli and Marina Rosucci can be seen celebrating following the first Women's Derby d'Italia played in Milan.

Three Juventus veterans were part of the inaugural challenge in season 2019/20. First half goals were netted by Martina and Cristiana before the half hour. One minute from the final whistle, Valentina Cernoia added the cherry on top with goal number three.
