Joao Mario moves on loan to Bologna

Joao Mario will play the second half of the 2025/26 Serie A season away from the Juventus Men’s First Team.

The Portuguese winger will stay in Italy, though, as he will be joining Bologna on a loan deal until 30 June, 2026.

Having arrived at Juventus last summer, the 26-year-old has taken to the pitch in our jersey thirteen times, between Serie A and the Champions League. It was during his European debut with Juventus – in the match against Borussia Dortmund – that he registered his first assist.
