Lea Khelifi has touched down in Turin, joining Juventus on a two-year contract. The new Bianconere midfielder has arrived from French side Nantes, and she has spoken for the first time since making the move.
“Juventus are one of the biggest clubs in the world,” Khelifi said. “The first thing I felt was excitement, I’m really happy to be here and I can’t wait to start this new chapter.”
ADAPTING TO ITALIAN FOOTBALL
“As far as my strengths go, I’ll always look to make the difference, especially with my technical ability. I always try to show my worth in the team. I’ll build chemistry with my teammates, and the whole group, as fast as I can. I’m confident that we’ll have a good season.”
ON THE PITCH
“I never give up on the pitch, I fight until the very last second, and I always try to help my teammates. I believe that I have good experiences, and I will look to share that with everybody. At the same time, though, I’ve come here hungry to listen and learn, because there’s always room to improve. I’m really happy to have this opportunity.”
