The initiative dedicated to Junior Members got off to a great start thanks to a very special guest. Our young fans became reporters for a day and interviewed Leonardo Bonucci at the Continassa Training Center, which was also broadcast live on Twitch.
There was no shortage of intriguing questions for Leo, who started the Junior Reporter day by immediately revealing a little secret, "A dream came true for me on Sunday - I came on as a central midfielder."
The most important goal of your career? "Not just one. I'm thinking about those I scored in the final of the European Championships with the national team, in the match itself and on penalties. With the shirt of Juve, I remember the first, in the Champions League, against Shaktar Donetsk, which brings back so much emotion, it was also a difficult goal… but I hope to score other important ones."
And then many little secrets. Like how to deal with the role of central defender, the meaning of his trademark celebration ("some fun with my friends"), life in the dressing room the moment before entering the field and the words that are said, the importance of being honest with teammates... there were also many questions from the people on Twitch, who interacted live with Leo, taking participation in this edition of 'Junior Reporter', if possible, to an even higher level.
Leo really opened up with the younger fans, revealing details not only of his career, but also of his private life, his personal history, his friendships.
"An example I looked up to? Nesta - when I saw him for the first time, I struggled to pluck up the courage to ask him for his shirt. My number? I also got it tattooed, for me 19 tells many a story, and it also happens that the sum of my children's birth dates equals 19... it's a number that says a lot about my personal story."
Did you know that the strikers who robbed Leo of sleep were Drogba and Zapata? That the most esteemed opponent of all is Modric? And that among his teammates, one of those that impressed him the most, for his charisma, technique and talent was Tevez?
Leo talked about his favorite stadium, his plans once his playing days are over, his favourite film ... in short, our reporters acted like real journalists, asking him about everything, no holds barred. And, judging by his reaction, Leo lapped it up.
