Manaka Hayashi has signed for Juventus! The Japanese midfielder joins the Women's First Team on a permanent deal from Chicago Stars FC.
Her contract with Isaac Guerrero's team will run until 30 June, 2029.
Born in 2004, Hayashi’s career began at the prestigious JFA Academy Fukushima, the national federation’s centre renowned for developing the country’s finest talents, before she moved on to play for INAC Kobe Leonessa. She then moved to the United States, where she first made a name for herself in the university league with Santa Clara University and the Oakland Soul, before finally joining the National Women’s Soccer League with the Chicago Stars, whilst also representing Japan’s youth national teams.
A technically gifted midfielder with outstanding tactical intelligence, Hayashi is a modern player capable of playing both as a playmaker and a central midfielder. Her arrival brings further quality and fresh impetus ahead of the domestic and European fixtures awaiting Juventus.
