Following Juventus' Women's Champions League journey ending for 2023/24 with a penalty shootout defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt, coach Joe Montemurro gave his thoughts and shared his disappointment.

Joe Montemurro's words

"We're disappointed and we paid for our mistakes. We'll have a year without the Champions League and I feel sorry for the girls, but we have Serie A, the Super Cup, and the Italian Cup to try to win back. We have to keep raising our level and growing.

"Of course, I have to congratulate Eintracht. This is just football. Sometimes things go your way and sometimes they don't.

"I have to watch the game again because I think we did enough in the first half, then we scored and after that I think we faded. I tried to change things a bit and refresh the midfield but then we went to penalties and from there it's a lottery."
