Busy week for Koni De Winter, Juve's young Belgian defender on loan this season at Empoli.

Koni has just come off playing two demanding matches for his current team, against Inter at San Siro last Monday evening and then on Saturday at home to Torino.

The Tuscan outfit collected four points from the two encounters, with De Winter starting from kick-off in both. The 20-year-old's performance in the prestigious 1-0 victory at San Siro against Inzaghi's team was outstanding: 81 touches of the ball, 73 total passes, but also, confirming his all-round commitment, 11 runs and as many passes in the Inter's final third of the pitch. He also won three aerial duels. All these numbers add up to the best recorded that evening by an Empoli player.

He put in 90 minutes of effort on Saturday too, at home against Torino, a match that ended 2-2. 41 successful passes and five defensive clearances - again the best stats from the Empoli team.

Data that confirm the continual development of a 'Made in Next Gen' talent.
