The Bianconeri returned to Vinovo this morning to begin preparations for Saturday evening’s mouthwatering Serie A showdown with Napoli at Juventus Stadium.

With just two points separating the sides at the summit of Italy’s top flight, Juventus will be striving to make home advantage count and claim the win that would see them leapfrog their Scudetto rivals into pole position.

Attention to every detail is fundamental if the Bianconeri are to emerge victorious, meaning Massimiliano Allegri will be leaving no stone unturned in his bid to secure a 15th straight league win at the weekend.

Today’s workout followed a similar pattern to the team’s traditional post-game routine. Those involved in Sunday’s clash with Frosinone conducted indoor and outdoor recovery sessions, while the remainder of the group focused on fitness and technical drills.

Missing out on this morning’s session was Giorgio Chiellini, who underwent a series of tests after departing the action towards the end of last weekend's clash at the Stadio Matusa. These revealed a torn soleus muscle in his right leg, an injury that is expected to keep him out for up to 20 days.

Tomorrow will see preparations for the Partenopei continue during another morning workout.
