Juventus are back home at the Allianz Stadium this weekend, with Atalanta visiting Turin on Sunday for a game kicking off at 18:00 CET.

Having enjoyed an excellent run of form that saw them move into the top four, Gian Piero Gasperini’s side are without a win in their last four across all competitions, drawing with AC Milan and Sporting CP either side of back-to-back defeats against Inter and Bologna respectively.

Ahead of Sunday evening's match-up, here's ten things to know about the Bergamaschi.

  1. Atalanta have won two of their last six games against Juventus in Serie A, which is as many as they had managed in their previous 48 against the Bianconeri.
  2. La Dea have conceded 120 goals on their trips to take on Juventus, only conceding more times against Inter (125) away from home. They have conceded at least twice on as many as 36 occasions, more than against any other side.
  3. Atalanta have already lost six away matches in this Serie A seasons, and haven’t fared worse on the road in Gasperini’s time at the club. They last lost more often away from Bergamo in 2015/16 under the guidance of Edoardo Reja.
  4. The only team against whom Ademola Lookman has scored more than once in an away match since joining Atalanta is Juventus, with his brace coming at the Allianz Stadium on 22 January, 2023.
  5. Teun Koopmeiners has created 47 chances in Serie A this season - second only to Antonio Candreva (54) among top-flight midfielders in Italy.
  6. Of Teun Koopmeieners’ eight goals this season, six have come away from Bergamo, with only Jude Bellingham (nine) and Phil Foden (six) equalling or bettering the Dutchman across Europe's top-five leagues.
  7. When named in the starting XI, Gianluca Scamacca has scored six goals in nine games, without scoring a single goal as a substitute. Of players in Serie A to have played at least two games from the start, only Lautaro Martinez (0.79) and Dusan Vlahovic (0.74) have a better goals-per-game average than Scamacca’s 0.67.
  8. Marten de Roon has provided five assists already this Serie A season, which is his career-best total.
  9. No Serie A defender has had as many shots in 2024 than Davide Zappacosta’s seven. Curiously, though, he has lost seven times against Juventus and has only suffered more defeats against Napoli (nine).
  10. Aleksey Miranchuk has created 22 chances for his teammates in 2024. No player has carved out more opportunities this year, and Miranchuk has created at least seven more chances than any of his teammates in that same period.
