Juventus travel to Lisbon to take on Benfica in Matchday 5 of the Champions League. The teams first met in Turin on September 14 with the Portuguese side winning 2-1.

The subsequent results in Group H have raised the stakes in the match on Tuesday at 21:00 CEST at the Stadium of Light for the Bianconeri.

CURRENT FORM

Since leaving Turin with all three points in Matchday 2 of the Champions League, Benfica have remained unbeaten at home and abroad.

The Eagles are proudly perched at the top of Portugal's Premiera with 28 points from a possible 30, six points ahead of nearest chasers Sporting Braga and Porto, who Roger Schmidt's side defeated 1-0 on Friday, with the only goal of the game scored by Rafa Silva. The attacking midfielder with his five goal total is now one goal behind the club's top scorer in the league, Gonçalo Ramos.

At the other end of the pitch, Goalkeeper Odisseas Vlachodimos has collected seven clean sheets from the 10 league matches played, conceding a total of five goals.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE STANDINGS

Of the 18 matches unbeaten in all competitions, two were obtained in the back-to-back showdowns with Group H rivals, Paris Saint Germain.

In Matchday 3 at the Estádio da Luz, Benfica found themselve behind to a Leo Messi goal on 22 minutes. Before half time, PSG's Portugal international Danilo diverted the ball into his own net to tie the score at 1-1.

Also in Paris, both sides scored a goal each. On 62 minutes, João Mário from the penalty spot cancelled out Kylian Mpabbé's spot kick opener.

The two stalemates have left both sides on eight points from four matches played, five points more than Juve.
