Juventus Women goalkeeper Pauline Peyraud-Magnin shares her feelings after renewing her contract with the Club until 2025.
RENEWAL
“This renewal is very important for me, I am very happy to have re-signed for Juventus. It means that, here, my story continues and as we say in French it means ‘I have placed another brick to continue constructing this building’, a building called "Juventus". In short, it means that I still have the goal of doing my part for this Club. I am happy to continue this adventure with my teammates, all the staff and the Juventus family, including the fans.
THE FUTURE
“My objectives will continue to be the same as always: to win as many trophies as possible with Juventus. For me it is important that the team wins titles and of course it would be wonderful to win the ‘Treble’ again as happened in my first season here, the 2021/2022 campaign.
UNFORGETTABLE MOMENTS
“My best memory over the years is certainly the one linked to the away match in London against Chelsea, in the Women's Champions League. Specifically, not so much the match, but all the emotions after the final whistle. That final hug between teammates and staff was simply wonderful and will remain in my memory forever. It's difficult for me, however, to dwell on just one good memory. There have been many exciting moments in recent years and one of these is undoubtedly the one linked to the press conference after the victory against Lyon in the quarter-finals of the Women's Champions League. My teammates entering the conference room of the Allianz Stadium singing ‘our’ song was simply magnificent.
ROLE MODEL
“For me, being the Juventus goalkeeper means being a player in all respects, not just the keeper of the Juventus goal. I think it is an important role like the others, certainly a role of great responsibility. It means that Juventus has a lot of faith in me. I've worn this shirt for three years and I'm always proud to wear it and I hope to do so for a long time to come. Do I think I'm a role model for younger girls? It's difficult to answer this question because so many emotions come into play. I certainly hope to be a point of reference for my younger teammates in the department and also for those in the Youth Sector."
