Juventus Women defeated Roma 4-2 with goals from Lineth Beerensteyn (brace), Cristiana Girelli and Julia Grosso. And the Bianconere number 10, who scored the goal that gave Juve a 2-1 advantage, commented on the important success achieved at the Tre Fontane stadium along with coach Joe Montemurro.

"It was a good victory in a moment when we are playing many important matches. The team is growing - moments of difficulty are part of football, but in these moments you can see the strength of our work and of our group. Today was an important match to show who we are and, even if we didn't play with the fluidity we wanted to, it was important to win. However, I have to congratulate Roma. I want to see football grow and I'm pleased if we continue to raise the level."

"Before the match against Inter we were going through a difficult moment, it was evident, but I think our strength comes through in moments of weakness. We looked each other in the eyes and faced that moment with awareness, maturity and intelligence and we've come through it. Many thought we were finished, we arrived six points behind at a tricky ground but the character of this team emerged - we showed what we are made of, this is Juve. There is still a long way to go in the championship, but it was very important today to bring home these points."
