Despite having been left chasing the game twice and having been down to ten men, Juventus return to Turin from the Olimpico with a point, thanks to a brace by Ronaldo, who equalized against the Giallorossi first with a penalty, and by then putting in Danilo's perfect cross into the net.

ANDREA PIRLO
“We faced a team that attacked with many players and it was a different match compared to the one against Sampdoria. We wanted to keep the line tight, put pressure on the central players and exploit the one-on-one in attack, but we weren't always able to find solutions, after all we were playing against a solid team and we knew we would have difficulties. We have midfielders suitable for playing two and we must try to make the most of their characteristics. We are a team under construction and we didn't have time to try more solutions in the pre-season, so let's try to find them in these first few games. Ronaldo? He trains to score, but he ran and gave a lot, even when there were ten of us and this is a good thing for his teammates.”
CRISTIANO RONALDO
“After falling behind, the game got complicated, but we managed to get an important point. We are at the beginning of the season, with a new coach who has different ideas, but I see a great future for the team. The championship is competitive, the teams have strengthened and it will be more complicated, but slowly we will find the form. The team has improved, I see us happier and we work hard with a smile.”
DANILO
"We didn't start well, but in the second phase of the match we settled down and did better, so we evaluate this draw positively. Today we saw that to win we have to improve. My role? I have played it many times at Manchester City and I think I can help my teammates by playing in this position."
