"We produced a decent display tonight. We used the ball well, especially in the first half. In the second half we barely gave Lazio a sniff. However, the most important thing today was seeing the right sort of attitude as that was completely lacking in the first half against Monza. The lads have to understand that in order to win games, besides the right tactics and technique, you need the right mindset. We won lots of tackles today and defended well. It's something we can build on when we go again in the league.
"Lazio are not an easy side to play against. If you let them run at you, they're really good. We slowed them down and did well to cut out the passing lanes. Then when Milinkovic-Savic came on we shut off the supply line for crosses too. I'm happy with the way we performed. Locatelli is setting a great example with his attitude: he plays with his head and his heart and never pulls out of a challenge. Chiesa did well again and Vlahovic is improving. I was pleased with how Cuadrado did in his first full game back too. The key ingredient though is to never ease up."
