The Men’s First Team drew 2-2 with Fiorentina at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on Serie A Matchday 11, with Nick Woltemade and Gleison Bremer scoring.
Luciano Spalletti and Randal Kolo Muani spoke to the press after the match.
LUCIANO SPALLETTI
“Every now and then we lose a bit of our confidence and composure when playing. We’ve responded well to conceding goals, but we’re unable to maintain consistency in our individual and team performances. At times, we decide to just sit back and accept the situation rather than taking the initiative and reacting. Taking the initiative removes any doubts one might have. We’re unable to maintain consistency.”
RANDAL KOLO MUANI
“I’m not happy with the result. We knew it wouldn’t be easy today. We need to keep working hard to get results. We’ll do that during the break and we want to be ready when we return. My position? It doesn’t matter where I play. Certainly, when I have space to attack, I’m able to make the most of my strengths.”
