The Men’s First Team head into the international break having beaten Atalanta 2-0 at the Allianz Stadium on Serie A Matchday 5.
Luciano Spalletti and Gleison Bremer spoke to the press after an important three points.
LUCIANO SPALLETTI
“For a manager, the commitment shown by our players today is priceless; there was a moment when we were forced to defend. In the second half we were on a par with them, but we could have caused Atalanta more trouble because the spaces were there. I’m convinced that [Randal] Kolo Muani will prove himself to be the goalscorer he is in this league. He also has that ease of movement that’s difficult to defend against. He was unlucky in front of goal today, but he really put in a great performance.”
GLEISON BREMER
“We put in a good performance, we’re improving. We need to be a bit patient because it’s never easy at the start. We’re building something for the future, it all starts here. Being in good physical shape is important; that’s what I set my mind on whilst I was on holiday, where I kept working with this season in mind. I need to be in good physical shape, because if I am, everything becomes easier.”
