Joe Montemurro spoke at the final whistle of the Coppa Italia semi-final first leg. The match finished 1-1 after Juve had taken a first-half lead.

"We started well. We were in control but then we switched off. We ran out of ideas, allowing Inter to grow, who could also have gone on to win. For the Poule Scudetto we need to do more, for example, by finding that bite to our game to end the contest when you have the opportunity to do so. However, 1-1 is fine because Inter are a very well organized team. Nilden and Boattin are two important absences, as is obviously Rosucci, whose experience in moments of difficulty is enormous. I'm not making excuses though, these are situations that are part of the game."

In the second leg, it will be necessary to read the moments of the game better, for example, today Inter pushed more in the second half when we should have managed the ball better. Joe Montemurro
