Joe Montemurro and Cecilia Salvai commented on Juventus Women's important 2-0 win over Milan, which kicked off the Bianconere's involvement in the Scudetto phase of the Serie A campaign.

"It was a very difficult game. In the first twenty minutes we played well, in my opinion, and the same happened in the second half as well. We were facing a strong tough team in the Rossonere, who we compliment for their excellent performance. The decision to field Girelli as starter was made in the minutes before the kick-off because Gunnarsdóttir wasn't at her best. It was a tactical choice because we threw in an attacking player like Cristiana.
"There was the risk that we would be open at the back, but the girls did well at finding the right balance on the pitch. A comment on Beerensteyn's match? We know Lineth's qualities and it is a pleasure to work with her. She's always got a smile on her face, which shows that she loves her football."
CECILIA SALVAI
"The matches we've got from now until the end of the season, like today's match, will all be finals because the level is very high and attention to detail will make the difference. Our first half was only partially positive, but in the second half we returned to the field with a great desire to bring home these three points and we succeeded. I think we saw the real Juventus Women that everyone knows."
