Preview: Juventus Women vs Fiorentina

The Juventus Women’s First Team will be looking to make it back-to-back wins in Serie A Women this weekend, with Fiorentina visiting Biella on Sunday afternoon. The Bianconere also achieved a positive result in the Women's Champions League in midweek, drawing with Lyon.

Fiorentina, for their part, were held to a 1-1 draw away to newly-promoted Parma last time out.

Kick-off in Biella is fixed for 15:00 CET on Sunday.

Interesting Facts

• Fiorentina are the side against whom Juventus have won the most matches in their Serie A history, with 15. The Viola are also behind only Sassuolo (49) as the sides against which the Bianconere have scored the most goals (47).
• After the wins against Ternana and Genoa, the Bianconere could win three home games on the bounce for the first time this calendar year. They last did so between May and November 2024, then winning five, with the third of those being a 4-0 win over Fiorentina in September.
• No player has scored more goals against Fiorentina in Serie A than Barbara Bonansea (11). In second place in that list is Cristiana Girelli with nine (level with Lana Clelland and Valentina Giacinti).

• Fiorentina have beaten Juventus in each of their last two Serie A meetings - 2-0 on 15 March, and 3-1 on 25 April. Only Roma have ever managed to beat the Bianconere in three straight Serie A fixtures.
• After their opening day loss to Napoli, Fiorentina have gone unbeaten in five Serie A matches (three wins, two draws). The last time they chained together so many unbeaten games was between December 2023 and February 2024 - eight then, including a 2-2 draw away to Juventus.
• The Viola are, along with Inter, one of the two Serie A sides with the most goals scored by substitutes this season (three apiece).
• Since debuting in Serie A in January 2024, no foreign player has scored more goals than Madelen Janogy’s 18 - along with Lana Clelland and Janogy’s compatriot Evelyn Ijeh. Janogy has also scored more than once in seven games in that time - twice against Juventus - which is again a league record.
