After successfully navigating their way into knockout rounds of the Women’s Champions League with a big midweek win, the Juventus Women’s First Team are back in league action this weekend. Napoli visit Biella on Matchday 9 of the 2025/26 Serie A Women season for an early start on Saturday.

The Bianconere are third in the table ahead of the weekend and five points off top, while Napoli have had an impressive campaign so far and are currently just one point behind in sixth.

Let’s get up to speed before Saturday’s 12:30 CET kick-off.

Interesting Facts

  • Juventus are unbeaten in their last eight games against Napoli in Serie A, winning seven of those and drawing one. That draw came in their most recent meeting in Biella back in February of this year.
  • The Bianconere’s next win will be their 150th in Serie A Women. They have lost just one of their last seven, winning four and drawing the other.
  • Having won their last two at home without conceding a goal (against Genoa and Fiorentina), the Bianconere will want to make it three home wins on the bounce with a clean sheet for the first time since between September and October 2022.
  • Cristiana Girelli’s next appearance will be her 150th in Serie A for Juventus. She has four goals against Napoli in the competition, three of which have been penalties, and only Arianna Caruso (five) has scored more goals against the Partenopee for the Bianconere.
  • Across all competitions, Tatiana Pinto has scored three goals in her last four appearances, having netted twice in her previous 11.
  • Barbara Bonansea (19) and Chiara Beccari (17) are the two players in Serie A Women with the most shots taken without having scored yet this term.
  • Both Estelle Cascarino and Paulina Krumbiegel could reach 50 appearances for the Club.

Opposition Focus

  • Napoli have 13 points from eight games so far this season, which is impressively just one fewer than the 14 they managed in 26 matches last term.  Even with a loss in Biella, 13 points after Matchday 9 will be their best-ever start to a season, with their previous record being 12 points in 2012/13.
  • This season, only Como W. and Roma (nine apiece) have picked up more points on the road than Napoli’s seven to date. Having won at Genoa on their last away trip, they could win back-to-back away matches for the first time since March 2013.
  • Cecilie Floe is the only Serie A Women debutante to have already had a direct hand in five goals - four goals and one assist. Floe is also one of three players - along with Nadine Nischler of Como and Fiorentina’s Sofie Bredgaard - to have had more than 20 shots on goal (22) and have created more than 10 chances (14) for her teammates.
  • Melissa Bellucci has won the ball back 37 times this season in the league, with only Sassuolo’s Kassandra Missipo (49), Roma’s Giada Greggi (44) and Como’s Liucija Vaitukaityte (40) managing more.
  • Only Genoa’s Alma Hilaj (19) has made more interceptions than Natalie Muth’s 17 this term.
