The international break is over and the Juventus Women’s First Team return to action this weekend, with Serie A Women Matchday 8 taking them to the capital to take on Roma. This is the first game between the two since the Serie A Women’s Cup final in September, which ended 3-2 in favour of the Bianconere.
Coming into the weekend, Juventus sit second in the table on 13 points, five behind the table-topping Giallorosse.
Kick-off at the Stadio Tre Fontane is set for 14:30 CET on Saturday, 6 December.
Interesting Facts
- Juventus have won four of the last five games against Roma in Serie A, having lost four of the previous five. Overall, the Bianconere are the side to have beaten the Giallorosse the most times in the league (13), which is at least six times more than any other team has managed.
- The Bianconere are one win away from hitting 150 in Serie A since debuting in 2017/18. In that time, they have won at least 36 more games than any other team in the league - Roma are in second place on 113, but having joined the league a year later.
- Despite winning four of their last five games in Serie A, the Bianconere have only won one of their three on the road this season, including the most recent against Milan. They have never lost back-to-back away matches in Serie A.
- Cristiana Girelli has the chance to become the first player to reach double digits of goals against Roma in Serie A, as she currently sits on nine, including a hat-trick against them on 2 March of this year. As well, she has only scored more goals as a Juventus player against Sassuolo (13) and Milan (11).
- Estela Carbonell is one of two full-backs in Serie A with two goal contributions this season. Curiously, the other is Roma’s Lucia Di Guglielmo.
- Emma Stolen Godo scored her first Serie A goal against Roma on 13 April of this year. In the current campaign, the only Bianconera to have created more chances than her nine (level with Barbara Bonansea) is Paulina Krumbiegel (10).
- Of the players to have scored at least four goals and assisted at least four more since the beginning of last season, only Arianna Caruso (842) has played fewer minutes than Amalie Vangsgaard’s 1,017.

Opposition Focus

- Evelyne Viens is the player with the most goals scored against Juventus as a Roma player (five), and she also has one assist against the Bianconere since joining the Giallorosse. Having scored last time out in Serie A, she could net in back-to-back league games for the first time since September 2024.
- Manuela Giugliano has 10 Serie A goals in 2025, only scoring more in a calendar year in 2017 (15) and 2024 (12).
- Alayah Pilgrim scored her first Serie A goal against Juventus on 15 April, 2024. She is without a goal in 12 in the league now, after having scored in three of the previous five.
