An afternoon in the company of Daniele Rugani on Twitch.

Daniele is in fine form, fresh from a series of great performances accompanied by five clean sheets in succession, as he shared his emotions of this period, and beyond, live with you! He started from the match against Fiorentina, and then touches on many aspects ranging from the past, present and future.

WIN OVER FIORENTINA

“Today we recovered from our trip to Florence, which was tough. From tomorrow we will start preparing for the match against Cagliari to end this period in the best possible way, which has been very positive. Fiorentina? It makes me laugh because Szczesny's interview at the end of the match comes to mind. On the bus we laughed about it, because ironically he told the truth. We suffered and this makes it even more important that we brought home the victory. Despite the suffering, however, we had the feeling that we were solid and that it wouldn't be easy to score goals against us. Then, of course, we also want to win by scoring more goals and suffering less, we know this and we will work on it, but in the meantime it was important to win in Florence. It was a team victory and it was essential to have maintained concentration in every moment of the match."

MATURITY

“Time passes and we grow. Not only on a demographic level, but also on a human and maturity level. Certain situations, that when you were younger seemed like mountains or burdens that were too heavy to carry, over time you understand that they are less heavy than they seemed. Many situations change, responsibilities increase, I have now become a father for three years; therefore, I experience certain situations differently. It is a growth path. Chiellini always told me that the best part of his career was after the age of 33 and this gives the idea of the importance of maturity."

RELATIONSHIP WITH THE COACH

“We often talk to the Coach, I have a wonderful relationship with him. In recent months, actually since last year, the relationship has consolidated and he has shown trust in me, both on a personal and public level, and I thank him for this because he has always said nice words about me, it makes me happy and gives me security, which is very important for a footballer. I feel his trust and that matters. This trust has always been there, because he also made me play very important matches in the past, but now I feel it even more."

JUVE

“My idol, as a child, was Del Piero, because I liked scoring goals. I also have lots of shirts of him at home! I remember that as a child I didn't watch the games at home because we didn't have pay TV subscriptions. We went to see them with my dad and my brother in the bar where he grew up, or we went to a Juventus Club nearby which was a small place, with about twenty seats. So, when we wanted to stay calm we went to the club to cheer, but for bigger games, we went to the bar. They are special memories. Thinking about the future, I want to tell our fans to come to the stadium and help us on Saturday, because we must not think that it will be easy and we will need them from the first to the last minute too. I hope to see the spirit of the last few games and we feel it and it's a nice injection of energy. This also makes a difference. We will try to do our best to make them rejoice, be happy and head into the break in a positive way."

Dani wanted to make his closeness to Tuscany felt: “I want to send a big hug to all the people affected by this terrible situation in Tuscany, my land. I would like to make my warmth and closeness felt and I am sure that we will be able to get back up again."
