Cecilia Salvai has put pen to paper on a contract renewal that runs until 2026, extending a connection that goes back to the inception of Juventus Women.
With 122 appearances, seven goals and 11 trophies to her name, Salvai can now target further major success, following the trend going back to day one. Her impressive figures are complemented by her considerable contribution off the pitch, as someone to take inspiration from and who embodies the club’s values as much as possible. Her input is impossible to quantify, but those who have worked alongside her, as well as the fans themselves, have always noticed and felt it in a tangible way.
There have been a plethora of special and unforgettable moments to date. There are standout victories and also obstacles that have presented themselves at difficult times before being overcome, while the odd defeat has also struck, but maybe the toughest area to face has been the bad injuries, all of which have been navigated together at home as part of the Juventus family.
This club will continue to be all that and more to Salvai. It is her home and a family where she is able to take to the pitch with the determination, elegance and desire to win that she has always showcased.
