Mister Sarri spoke to the media today to discuss tomorrow evening’s Italian Cup fixture against Milan. The 61-year-old covered an array of topics, including the fixture, his team’s form and his meeting with the President.

MEETING MILAN

“Milan have improved a lot in this period. They come into the game off the back of the derby in which they played well. It will be a difficult game.”

ON THE TEAM

“This team is training well, with intensity and application. The level of training has been elevated and the group has made themselves available. One works well at Juve: from the structures, to interpersonal rapports and the environment. There is depth in the team which allowed for multiple formations that can be selected when needed.”

MEETING WITH THE PRESIDENT

“I see the President often and every now and then we go out for dinner. It was something that was already planned. It is normal that my work is always under scrutiny. We are in February and we are fighting for every competition, which is in line with the initial goals. It is clear that we come from a bad game, but with external rather than internal repercussions.”

THE PLAYERS

“Miralem Pjanic had a great start to the season, and I am convinced that he will return to being decisive again. Cristiano Ronaldo said to me that he is doing well right now. With him, we evaluate game by game. Chiellini’s road to recovery looks good. He needs to do a few more tests like he did this morning. Aaron Ramsey is growing both in his physical condition and with his confidence. It was not easy for him to adapt, coming from the Premier League and from a bad injury.
