Spalletti: We can go into the game with confidence

The Juventus Men's First Team face a trip south to take on Napoli in Serie A on Sunday, 7 December at 20:45 CET.

Coach Luciano Spalletti spoke to the press ahead of the game to share his thoughts.

THE TEAM'S CURRENT FORM

"The Juventus shirt was made for this, to win matches. It has to be normal for us. It's important that we've won three matches in a row because it means we can go into tomorrow's game with more confidence. Being part of such an important club gives you the chance to aim for the top again. It's a long journey, we can't expect to do it all in one match."

TOMORROW'S CHALLENGE

"There are matches that are just worth three points, but this one could say a lot about the future of our season, so we'll give it everything we've got. We need to be ready for this test. We know it's a difficult match because we're playing against the reigning champions. We know how strong Napoli are. If we want to move forward, this is what we have to deal with."

"[Teun] Koopmeiners is an elegant, brilliant, creative footballer. He has personality, so I expect that once people see what he can do on the pitch, there will be a next step. The pitch is so big that it offers the chance to always show something new. [Jonathan] David is a good lad, physically strong and intelligent. I can sense his reaction; it's what he needs to do given the kind of player he is. [Weston] McKennie is willing to do whatever you ask him to do, which is perfect for a manager. [Manuel] Locatelli has personality; he's a player who has his own specific role in the dressing room. He knows his strengths and he knows what I want from him."
