Stefano Braghin, Head of Juventus Women, shared his thoughts immediately before Saturday's Serie A fixture against AC Milan: "We've tried to bring in players who offer us something we didn't have already. The costs have risen since we turned professional so we need to be sustainable in our transfer dealings. That means searching for talented young players or star names keen on a new experience who are interested in joining a club like Juventus."

On the UEFA rankings: "Being ninth in the UEFA rankings means being first in the second tier because the top eight are on another level financially speaking. I see it as motivation for us to keep working on different football ideas, otherwise it would just be frustrating."

On the current campaign: "Since we were founded five years ago, we've won ten trophies in Italy and established ourselves in Europe. All cycles have the odd dip. It's not easy to make changes without losing sight of your sporting targets but the girls are doing really well in that respect. The level has also increased a lot in Italy recently. Those two factors together explain the occasional slip-up we've had, but we're very clear about what we have to do and we're continuing on our path."
