The latest edition of #TalentTrack, supporters’ weekly guide to those Bianconeri players out on loan or co-ownership deals, begins by putting Vykintas Slivka under the microscope.

A midfielder by trade, the 20-year-old, who impressed during last season’s loan spell with Slovenian outfit Nova Gorica, played 76 minutes of Lithuania’s 2-1 Euro 2016 qualifying defeat to Switzerland at the weekend.

During the encounter in Vilnius, Slivka had two opportunities in each half before being replaced by Gediminas Vicius for the game’s closing stages.

Elsewhere, congratulations go out to Nicolò Curti and Luca Barlocco who were part of the Como side that recently secured promotion to Serie B.

The former, a central defender, bagged a solitary strike in nine outings during his loan spell, while 20-year-old Barlocco played once, against FeralpiSalò, earlier on this term.

Also toasting league promotion last week was Marcel Buchel, who featured heavily in Bologna’s 1-1 playoff draw with Pescara which enabled the Rossoblu to return to Serie A just a year after suffering relegation.

The 24-year-old enjoyed an excellent season in Emilia-Romagna, contributing three goals and two assists in 30 appearances for the club.

Facing Buchel that evening for Pescara were Bianconeri duo Cristian Pasquato and Vincenzo Fiorillo, who have both received rave reviews for their performances in the 2014/15 term.

Striker Pasquato found the net seven times in 33 matches for the Abruzzo-based oufit, while shotstopper Fiorillo kept nine clean sheets in 26 games at the Stadio Adriatico.
