For three years Michela Franco and Juventus Women have been tied together, travelling along the same path and taking on each new challenge side by side. They have been three years that has brought plenty of success, but now it is time to say farewell: Franco’s contact at Juventus has come to an end.
Having arrived at the club in the summer of 2017, Franco formed part of the historical first ever Juventus Women’s team, where she and her teammates went on to be crowned Scudetto Champions in their debut Serie A Femminile campaign. That’s not all, over the next two seasons, Franco went on to win yet another two league titles, an Italian Cup and an Italian Super Cup.
Franco’s Letter to Juventus:
Dear Juventus, In these years you have made me feel at home, you have "pampered", supported and you have taken care of me with a lot of professionalism. It has been three years full of joys but also of pain: Thank you to my team, to my teammates who have always supported me, I never gave up, trying to improve myself day after day. Since I first put football boots on my feet, I have always wanted to feel like this, mentally and physically. I can tell you dear Juventus, that thanks to you, I come out of this different and more mature. I thank all my teammates who made these years extraordinary, I thank the staff for the professionalism and our fantastic fans for all the warmth and strength they have transmitted to us. It was an honour to have spent part of my trip with the “Lady". THANK YOU, Juventus. With esteem and affection, Michela Franco
Her vibrant and motivated personality served as an excellent source of encouragement and motivation in the changing room, and her presence will certainly be missed.
Juventus thanks Franco for her contribution to the club and wishes her all the best of luck on her future endeavours.
