Following two and a half years together the paths of Weston McKennie and Juventus go their separate way. The split comes after the Texan raised his first trophies since turning pro in the black and white stripes, the Italian Super Cup and the Italian Cup.

In the second part of the season Weston will wear the shirt of Leeds United.

McKennie, whose black and white adventure began in the summer of 2020, says farewell to our colours after 96 appearances in all competitions, enhanced by his 13 goals and five assists. Impossible to forget is his splendid finish against Barcelona.

Weston has always made his contribution, as demonstrated by his 64 starts out of the almost 100 matches played in our shirt, putting his best characteristics to the team cause. Since he arrived in Turin in season 2020/2021, no Juventus player has scored more headed goals in all competitions than the seven he has netted.

Remaining on his first season at Juventus, in Serie A alone he was directly involved in finding the net seven times again - five goals and two assists - his personal best in Europe's top-five leagues.

He leaves Italy in the knowledge that his nine-goal total makes him the highest-scoring American player ever in Serie A.

Now a new adventure awaits him and we thank him for these seasons spent together.

Thanks Weston and all the best!
