Juventus and Under-19 coach Andrea Bonatti have gone their separate ways.
Bonatti has been at Juventus since season 2019/20, when he took charge at Under-16 level. The following year he took over the Under-19 team.
At the helm of the Juventus Primavera, the coach was instrumental in the growth of the players, as individuals and as a team, both on and off the pitch.
And the results are there to be seen. Bonatti leaves behind a solid Under-19 team, a cohesive and united group, which during the season just concluded was successful in Italy (going far in the Italian Cup and reaching the semi-final of the Scudetto Play-offs) and above all in Europe. Last season, Juventus Under 19 wrote a page of club history, arriving for the first time at the Youth League Final Four, missing out on an appearance in the final only on penalties against Benfica, the eventual winners of the tournament.
This magical and incredible moment is told in "Together We Stand", the second episode of the Juventus Original Series "Bianconeri Next Gen" (online on our channels), and is testimony to the progress made under Bonatti and the legacy that he leaves - that is why we cannot but extend our thanks.
