Once again this year, the Juventus Museum has added prestigious pieces to the trophy cabinet - three new trophies all from the women's sector: the Serie A title and the Italian Cup from the Women’s First Team, and the Primavera Scudetto secured by the Under-19s.
These titles cap off an extraordinary season, joining the Viareggio Women’s Cup that the Under-19s claimed in March.
As tradition dictates, the official ceremony took place in what is arguably the most emotional room of the Juventus Museum, with Juventus President Gianluca Ferrero, Museum President Paolo Garimberti, and a strong contingent of players and staff from both the First Team and the Under-19s in attendance.
Reflections on the Day
Gianluca Ferrero, President of Juventus
“We are very proud and happy to be here celebrating yet another historic moment for Juventus Women. For the first time, both our First Team and Under-19 women’s side - the present and future of our club - enrich the trophy cabinet of the Juventus Museum with their respective league titles. But that’s not all: the museum also receives the Italian Cup, won last Saturday in Como after a great victory against Roma.
"It’s been a significant and meaningful season that confirms Juventus’ ongoing focus and leadership, not only in the women’s game but also within our youth academy. Today, Sara Gama was also present, a figure who has made history with Juventus Women. She’s an icon not only for our club but for all of women’s football. It’s been a privilege to share these eight years of history with her.”
Paolo Garimberti, President of the Juventus Museum
“Winning so many major trophies in one year is quite rare. It shows the tremendous growth and health of our women’s sector, which has also improved technically year after year. Women's football at Juventus gives us great satisfaction and displays immense quality. Personally, I feel a special sense of pride that, since I took on this role, every year we’ve been able to add trophies to our collection—something that’s far from ordinary.”
Stefano Braghin, Women’s Football Director
“This year being here has a special flavor, because we’re bringing three trophies - something we couldn’t have imagined at the start of the season, given the many changes in both the Under-19 and First Team. The extraordinary results have silenced any doubts. The presence of two teams here today proves that within these trophies lies the past and present of Juventus Women - but also its future.”
Carola Coppo, Head of Juventus Women Academy
“We’re very happy with this outcome, and it was certainly a long-awaited one. It’s a reward for years of hard work. As I’ve said before, I’m truly pleased the girls had the chance to experience these emotions - it’s a fitting recognition of their efforts. At the same time, for those of us behind the scenes, these victories are fleeting moments, and our thoughts must already turn to the future - to plan and build what’s next.”
As previously announced, Women's First Team captain Sara Gama was also in attendance for one last “official” moment following her retirement from football:
“I’m so happy to be here. Today we bring three trophies, and I’m thrilled that the younger girls are here too - it’s a symbol of continuity. Personally, I couldn’t ask for more: I began my journey here with a win, and now I end it by bringing home two more trophies. It’s the perfect way to close the circle.”
