Four goals against Ferencváros later and a return trip from Budapest to Turin during the night, the Bianconeri showed up on the JTC fields this morning and started preparing for Sunday's match against Lazio. The jam-packed calendar unfortunately does not allow for the Bianconeri to rest, at least until next week, when there will be yet another international break.
Before then, however, we need to work hard in light of the match at Olimpico, whose kick-off is set at 12:30. The team was divided into two groups: the first, made up of the players on the pitch last night at the Puskas Arena, underwent a recovery session in the gym and the swimming pool, while the second group took to the field focusing on ball possession and tactics, with a focus on offensive combinations.
Aaron Ramsey, who was substituted off during last night’s match, was subjected to examinations at J | Medical this morning, which revealed a low-grade injury to the rectus femoris muscle of the right thigh. In 10 days it will be re-evaluated again.
Preparation continues tomorrow and the team will be back on the field in the morning for a new session.
