Today, FIFPro released the 55-player shortlist for the 2017 Women's World XI and two Juventus Women players were nominated.
Finland international defender Tuija Hyyrynen and Italy international forward Barbara Bonansea are among the 55 players with five goalkeepers, 20 defenders, 15 midfielders and 15 attackers making the shortlist.
Hyyrynen has started all 14 Serie A matches in the Juventus Women's inaugural season while continuing to be an important piece to the Finland National Team while Bonansea is tied for the third-highest scorer in Serie A with 11 goals in 14 matches. Bonansea scored for the Italy national team on Wednesday in a 3-0 win over Sweden in the Cyprus Cup.
The FIFPro 2017 Women's World XI will be released on Thursday, 8 March, which is International Women's Day.
