The Under 17s secured a crucial victory on Sunday which saw them go three points above their hosts Sampdoria at the top of the table with just one match remaining.

Alessandro Lombardi struck the only and ultimately decisive goal of the game in the 61st minute. Felice Tufano’s charges will look to finish the campaign in first place when they take on Fiorentina on 1 May in Vinovo.

There was less good news to emerge on the day, however, from Juve’s Under 15s, who fell 1-0 at home to Sampdoria’s equal age category courtesy of Giuliano Maglie’s 52nd minute strike.

The result leaves Davide Cei’s young guns in fifth place on 40 points. Their final game of the regular season sees them travel to Virtus Entella next weekend.
