What better way to make your Bianconeri debut? That was the case for Juve’s talented striker Paulo ‘La Joya’ Dybala. Today he was ready beside that divot in the box when Paul Pogba passed him the ball that he in turn had received from the man who, a short time before, had scored to break the deadlock. Paulo then thumped the ball emphatically into the roof of the net. “It feels different today compared to the past. Not only scoring on my debut in a Juve shirt but also scoring in a final like this and winning. It’s an unforgettable feeling.”You could hear the delight in his voice as the Argentine forward spoke to the RAI pitchside after the game. “The club invested heavily in me and I will try to repay their faith,” he added.Based on the start he’s made, we’ll have to take him on his word. He seems to have already figured out what the club is all about: “The aim of this club is to always win. Here you play to win every match.”Then, with the breeziness typical of someone his age, he touched upon the nutmeg that infuriated Allegri, “I thought the ball would go through but that wasn’t the case and I apologised at full time.” Dybala then dedicated his historic goal and first trophy for the club: “It’s for my family, who are definitely watching at home, and my girlfriend.”Congratulations, Paulo!
