Juventus Women are set for their second match of the 2026/27 UEFA Women's Champions League League Phase, with a trip to Sweden to take on BK Häcken.
The Bianconere will take to the pitch on Wednesday, 30 September at 18:45 CEST to face the Swedish side, following their European opener against Benfica on 22 September. It represents another important step in the continental journey of Isaac Guerrero's side.
JUVENTUS' EUROPEAN JOURNEY
Juventus reached the League Phase after successfully navigating the qualifying rounds. Following a 3-1 victory over Hammarby, the Bianconere faced St. Pölten in the third qualifying round, winning 3-0 in Austria before drawing the return leg 1-1.
The League Phase began on 22 September with a home match against Benfica, which ended in a 2-1 victory for the Portuguese side.
Guerrero's team head into the European fixture on the back of a 3-1 victory over Napoli in their opening Serie A Women match of the season.
THE OPPOSITION: BK HÄCKEN
Awaiting Juventus in Sweden are BK Häcken, coached by Elena Sadiku, who began their League Phase campaign with a 1-0 away defeat against Inter.
The Gothenburg-based club boast considerable experience in the UEFA Women's Champions League and enjoyed a particularly impressive European campaign in the 2023/24 season. That year, Häcken reached the quarter-finals after finishing second in a highly competitive group featuring Chelsea, Paris FC and Real Madrid.
The Swedish side collected 11 points from six matches, recording three wins – against Paris FC and twice against Real Madrid – as well as two draws, away at Chelsea and at home against Paris FC. Their only defeat in the group stage came against Chelsea. Their European journey then came to an end in the quarter-finals against Paris Saint-Germain.
Sadiku's squad includes several players with international experience. Among them are Swedish goalkeeper Jennifer Falk, Australia's Aivi Luik and, in attack, Anna Anvegård and American forward Tabitha Tindell.
The match against Juventus will be Häcken's first home fixture of the 2026/27 League Phase. After beginning their campaign away to Inter in Milan, the Swedish side will make their home debut against the Bianconere.
Häcken and Juventus therefore head into their second League Phase fixture both looking to pick up their first points of the European campaign.
