5 May. Once again on this day.

After that incredible day in 2002, another Scudetto was celebrated on the same day, but in 2013 when Juventus beat Palermo at Allianz Stadium. That victory resulted in the the Italian badge being secured courtesy of a goal scored by Arturo Vidal.

It’s a victory that concludes an exceptional year, as can be read in the lines of our Scudetto story:

Mighty, dominant, fair. Or, if you prefer, simply superior to all. The 31st Scudetto has certified this: Italian football has definitely regained its Lady. Juve has been reconfirmed a champion – a master of the rankings from the first day. A total of 26 matches won out of 35. We’ve traveled at an average of 2.37 points per game. We’ve scored 67 goals and conceded just 20 goals, the least of all. We’ve triumphed three match days early. And the fact that we had to wait "so much" to celebrate, is credit to the adversaries and the competitiveness of the league that, evidently, maintains a level of difficulty that is anything but trivial.
