The Women's First Team host AS Roma on Matchday 4 of the 2026/27 Serie A Women season, with the aim of bouncing back after a defeat against Como 1907.

The Giallorosse have made a perfect start to their Serie A campaign, and sit joint-top with Inter and Como 1907. That means the Bianconere will need to be at their best to take all three points on Saturday, with kick-off scheduled in Biella for 18:30 CEST on October 24.

Let's take a look at what went down when Juventus last beat Roma, which wasn't very long ago at all.

SERIE A WOMEN'S CUP GLORY

The last time that Juventus met Roma was just two months ago. Isaac Guerrero's side made it to the final of the Serie A Women's Cup for the second season in a row, and as has become the norm in domestic cup finals, they were joined by Roma.

Juve were defending their crown, having won the inaugural Serie A Women's Cup in 2025.

By the 55th minute, it seemed that the Bianconere would not be enjoying more silverware. Roma were 2-0 up thanks to goals from Kayleigh van Dooren and Antoine Maya, but there was a lot more action to come.

Juve quickly got back into the game through Alba Redondo, which gave them something to work with for the final half an hour. Her volley from close range proved to be the catalyst for Juve.

In added time, Amaiur Sarriegi hit the inside of the post and it seemed that the chance to force extra time had gone. In the 95th minute, though, Juve were awarded a penalty, which Redondo fired into the bottom corner to make it 2-2.

Extra time passed with both teams having good chances to find the winner, but penalties were needed to settle the cup final. Having worked so hard to get back into the match, Juve's efforts were rewarded when Ella Ottey fired her penalty into the crossbar.

Eva Schatzer stepped up to capitalise on the miss and scored, and then Elisabetta Oliviero's penalty was saved by Larissa Rusek and the Serie A Women's Cup was Juventus' again.
