Women | Benedicte Simon loaned to Sassuolo

Benedicte Simon is to spend the rest of the 2023/24 season at Sassuolo.

The 26-year-old spent the last six months at the Valencia-based club, who play in the Spanish top flight. She will remain at Sassuolo on loan until 30 June 2024.

The French defender joined Juventus in January 2023 and made three appearances for the Bianconere last term – two in Serie A and one in the Coppa Italia.

Her debut came in that cup match on 8 February, a 3-0 win over Chievo Women that set Juventus on their way to the final, where Barbara Bonansea’s goal secured the trophy for Joe Montemurro’s side.
