Bénédicte Simon, born just outside of Paris in Mantes-la-Jolie on 2 June 1997, has signed for Juventus Women. The defender joins the club from PSG on a contract that runs through to 30 June 2025.

Bénédicte, who is set to wear the number 20 jersey, began her career with FC Mantois 78 before making her senior bow with Aurillac Arpajon. Her time there led to a switch to second-tier Reims in 2016, with the club clinching promotion to the top flight in 2019, thanks in part to the defender’s solid displays. In 2020, the player moved to PSG, where her debut came against none other than her previous employer in a season in which the club from the capital was crowned French champions.

Simon, who spent last season on loan at Atletico Madrid as the team finished fourth in the top tier in Spain, returned to Paris for the first half of the current campaign and is now set to embark on a new experience in another major European league, this time in black and white, with major targets ahead of her.

Everyone at the club wishes Bénédicte a warm welcome. We can’t wait to see you out on the pitch!
