December has been a good month for Martina Lenzini. First, she made her 100th Juventus appearance in the 4-0 win over Pomigliano, and followed that up by seeing her shirt go into the Juventus Museum in Turin.

Now, Martina has extended her contract with Juventus until 2026.

The renewal is an important one not only for her, but for the Bianconere as well. Martina is a product of Juventus, and proof that the plan set out for youngsters at the club can bear fruit. Having debuted at Juventus and been part of the squad, she went away on loan to Sassuolo before returning as a key player for the Bianconere.

Lenzi is a rock at the back, and also has a lot to offer going forward as well. In Serie A and in the Champions League as well, Martina has been a reliable presence in the XI, always giving her absolute all on the pitch.

Now, with the contract signed, all eyes are on the next few years and unwritten chapters of Martina Lenin’s story with Juventus.

Congratulations, Lenzi!

MARTINA LENZINI SPEAKS AFTER HER JUVENTUS RENEWAL

Love and emotion

“There are two words that I would use to describe how I’m feeling: love and emotion. The two are connected. My love for Juventus started when I was young and that is a word that sums up everything I’ve experienced, from supporting the club as a child, coming here in my first year, leaving on loan and then coming back, establishing myself and now signing this renewal.

"I always give my all, and put all the love I have for this club into each game. Everything about Juventus gives me an incredible emotion. Seeing my shirt go up in the museum brought tears to my eyes… to see my shirt there is an indescribable feeling.”

A DREAM WEEK

“It has been an incredible couple of weeks. Seeing Cec [Cecilia Salvai] come to me with the ‘Lenzini 100’ shirt after the Pomigliano game was incredible, it made me feel so many things and I could really feel the fans’ affection as well. They’ve always made me feel welcome, they celebrated with me, and they’ve always shown that they care. Even my family have always been by my side.

“My mum messaged me after the game to congratulate me, and I have to repeat that seeing my shirt in the Juventus Museum was extraordinary. I was a fan, I often went out in the streets to celebrate the club’s title wins, and with friends I’d always put on my [Alessandro] Del Piero shirt, or my [Pavel] Nedved shirt, and now my shirt is up there next to theirs. This is something that fills me with huge pride.”

THE FUTURE

“I’m very happy with my growth. I’m very away of the progress I’m making, and I know the importance of the mental aspect and having the right attitude. You have to put all of that into everything to get Juve to where it belongs. You have to have the right attitude every day, it’s the little details that really make a difference. Every minute in training shows in matches.

“In the future I want to continue to improve, to grow and, above all, to win more trophies.”
