Three out of five Bianconeri that were in line for their World Cup debut took to the pitch in Qatar on the evening of Thursday 24 November 2022.

The Juventus "derby" between Brazil and Serbia potentially brought together Alex Sandro, Bremer and Danilo on one side and Kostić and Vlahović on the other. The South Americans prevailed over the Europeans 2-0 thanks to Richarlison's brace. The two goals came in the second half and sent Brazil to the top of the group with full points, equal to Switzerland. Zero points, however, for the Serbs just like Cameroon.
Alex Sandro and Danilo played the entire match while Bremer had to settle for a place on the bench. In the Serbian side, however, Vlahović entered the action in the 66th minute in place of Mladenović, while Kostić had to postpone his World Cup debut.
