As the internationals begin to return from their respective commitments around the world, Massimiliano Allegri is able to count on an ever expanding group with which to work towards Saturday’s first home game of the season against Udinese.
Bolstering the ranks today were Swiss full-back Stephan Lichtsteiner, Uruguayan defender Martin Caceres and French Under-21 midfielder Kingsley Coman.
This afternoon’s session focused on one-on-one, two-on-two and three-on-three drills designed to sharpen the team’s technique in high intensity scenarios.
Midfielder Arturo Vidal returned from international duty reporting muscular discomfort at the back of his right thigh. He sat out training today and tomorrow will undergo tests to assess his availability for the Bianconeri’s upcoming fixtures.
