Whilst Europe’s eyes were firmly on today’s Champions League draw which saw the Bianconeri pitted against Borussia Dortmund in the last 16, Massimiliano Allegri and his charges were out on the Vinovo pitches this afternoon as they prepared for this Thursday’s Serie A encounter with Cagliari in Sardinia.
Two matches now separate Juventus from the impending winter break and the boss will be hoping to get his troops in the best possible shape as they look to go into 2015 top of the league and with the Super Cup also in tow.
Those players who featured in yesterday’s 1-1 draw with Sampdoria in Turin underwent a warm-down while the remainder of the group focused on fitness drills and technique during a wet day at Juventus Center.
Tomorrow sees the Bianconeri step up their preparations for Thursday’s trip to the Stadio Sant’Elia with another training session pencilled in for the afternoon.
