Andrea Barzagli added his name to the growing list of Bianconeri stars to take part in the club’s #Ask… series earlier this afternoon.

The 33-year-old, who made his long-awaited comeback from injury against Sassuolo on Monday, fielded a whole host of questions from fans far and wide on the club’s official Twitter profile.

First up for the Fiesole-born defender was a question regarding his return to the pitch following a prolonged spell on the sidelines. In responding, he admitted he felt overwhelmed by the fantastic support he received from all four corners of Juventus Stadium earlier this week.

.@HelmyDH I was really focused, but I heard the crowd applaud and it was a wonderful feeling. #AskBarzagli

Since making his professional debut back in 1998, the centre-back has played with many superstars throughout his career and was asked if one player stood out in particular.

.@AbdallahRampage I've been lucky enough to play with many world class players, but @Pirlo_official is 100 per cent unique. #AskBarzagli

Not only a cornerstone of Juventus’ three-time Scudetto-winning side, the Italian has also been a prominent member of the Azzurri’s national side, lifting the World Cup back in 2006. Incidentally, it was one of those very matches leading to the famous success that will always remain close to his heart.

And finally, as it has become customary over the course of this season, Barzagli tried his hand at singing the club’s classic anthem ‘Storia Di Un Grande Amore’.

But did he fare better than his team-mates, and notably Simone Pepe? Find out for yourselves down below.

.@Adrianairrera Sing the anthem? I knew this was coming! I'd probably rather go to the dentist! Alright then, give me a sec to warm up...

.@Adrianairrera I saw @pepigno7's performance, I reckon mine was better! What do you guys think? #AskBarzagli

Never slow on the uptake, Pepe soon got in on the act himself by saying he was the hardest opponent the defender has ever faced, but Barzagli was having none of it!

.@pepigno7 You're the player who's given me the hardest time?! There's no video evidence to prove it! #AskBarzagli
